If a strange drone shows up outside your bedroom window at an unanticipated hour and you don’t know, who’s recording you on the camera, obviously your privacy is being breached. More commonly, a breach of privacy means that someone has hacked a confidential database with your personal information in it. This is a particular concern if it’s your bank, your law firm, your doctor’s records, very sensitive information like that because the person might then abuse the information to, for example, clean out your bank account or otherwise, use it against you.
